BestFest is a public festival hosted at 世界杯官方app each fall during Homecoming Weekend. Sponsored by Roadrunner Productions (RP) and the 世界杯官方app Student Involvement Center, the event features dozens of food, beverage, and game booths run by student organizations, as well as interactive activities, musical entertainment, and carnival rides.

BestFest 2024

Join us on Friday, October 18 to celebrate 世界杯官方app during Homecoming Week at BestFest 2024. This exciting event invites, students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the greater San Antonio community to enjoy this public festival! This year's BestFest event will include a Family Association area where Roadrunner families are invited to gather in celebration of Family Weekend.

BestFest will be located outdoors on the 世界杯官方app Main Campus in front of the Convocation Center (Brackenridge Lot 1).

世界杯官方app BestFest is Going Cashless!

This year, 世界杯官方app BestFest will be cashless for the first time. To streamline the experience for everyone and keep up with modern trends, all payments will now be made through mobile apps. Student organizations will be accepting payments via popular apps such as Venmo, PayPal, CashApp, and others.

In addition, some booths may also accept debit and credit card payments through Square, so you’ll have multiple ways to pay!

This new approach allows for a faster, more convenient way to support your favorite booths and participate in all the fun activities BestFest has to offer. Please come prepared with your mobile device or card to enjoy food, games, and more!

Event Itinerary

Make sure to plan your evening in a way to not miss out on all the fun! Here is the itinerary for this year's BestFest including performances by several student organizations.

4 p.m. - Entrance Opens

4 p.m. -  Family Cosmic Bingo

6:30 p.m. - Student Organization Performances

7 p.m. - Pep Rally

8 p.m. - Plain White T's

9:15 p.m. - Drone Show

Plan Your Visit

BestFest is adopting the same bag policy as the Alamodome. Below is a list of approved and not approved bags for the festival. Please plan accordingly.

  • Mesh Bag

  • Clear Backpack  
  • Tinted Plastic Bag  
  • Printed Pattern Plastic Bag   
  • Any bag larger than 5.5’’x8.5’’ 
  • Handguns are not permitted.

Directions and Parking

BestFest is located at 世界杯官方app Main Campus off of 1604.  The event is located in front of the Convocation Center in  Brackenridge Lot 1. 

BestFest parking is available at no charge in Brackenridge Ave Lot 2. No 世界杯官方app permit is required.

Family Association

The Family Association is excited to partner with the Student Involvement Center to host a Family Get Together area, within the BestFest grounds, as a part of the Homecoming and Family Weekend collaborative festivities.
